Sometimes I look at my kids and am like: “wtf did I do to deserve this 😒.” Then other times it’s like: “wtf did I do to deserve this!?! 😍” And it’s fine!!! If you feel the same way sometimes, don’t be so hard on yourself. Ask any parent and they’ll tell you the same and if they don’t, THEY’RE LYINGGGGG!!!

Life can be hard. Life with kids can be even harder. You’re not only caring and trying to make the right decisions for yourself anymore, you’re also constantly questioning yourself and trying to make the right decisions for another human being and trying not to fuck them up mentally (and physically) (JK… sorta LOL) for life. Sounds harsh but that’s the honest reality, right!? 🤷‍♀️

With so many opinions of others and eyes constantly on you with the openness of social media, it makes it 10x harder… But it also, does so much good.

Because of all of this being available to the whole world, I’m able to put this out there and hopefully help somebody, but it also is constantly keeping us aware of all our flaws and under stress.

“What if Aunt Sue sees this and tells the family and they disapprove?  Sally was always such a good, hands-on mom… what if she sees this and doesn’t agree with what I’m doing?”

“What will everyone think of me!?!?!?”

Everyone has their own way of parenting. How could EVERY WAY be the right way?!

The way I see it, no way is the right way. The right way is what is right for you and your family.

I’m going to give you a super personal example in hopes that you’ll lighten up and stop mentally abusing yourself and others, if you’re the judger!… I do not vaccinate my kids and I am also very passionate about homeschooling them.

I do not like the school systems and thoroughly looking at both sides, I decided not to trust vaccines and think they do more harm than good. BUT! That’s just me!

Nothing against school teachers or parents that choose to vaccinate their kids and/or send them to school!!!! In my opinion, teachers are doing so much good and are SUCH amazing people. Its just my choice to homeschool. I’ve decided not to care what anyone else thinks, and not take opinions that are different than mine personally.

But I Know the majority of the world and people reading this probably think that I’m being a horrible parent, but that is my beliefs and that, to me, is being the best possible parent I can be.

Seriously, I want to make this clear: I DO NOT JUDGE!!!! If you’re child goes to school and gets vaccinated, I do not/will not talk shit behind your back LOL. I could honestly care less.

Here’s the main point to this blog… It’s important to remember not everyone is going to agree with you, and it’s okay. You don’t have to care.

When all is said and done, it’s you who will be left alone with your child when they are grown to answer to, suffer consequences for, rejoice in successes and accomplishments and ultimately before your maker.

And here is some advice I’ve learned the hard way that I’d like to pass onto you. It’s probably a good idea not to mention anything that you’re strongly passionate about to just anybody because they, most likely, will shit on you. Lol. It’s okay to keep things to yourself.

When people ask me if Lilly or Belle have gotten their shots yet I just smile and say yes. They don’t need to know my business if all they’re going to do is bring me down and tell me why ‘I’m “wrong”.

If there are people giving you shit about your certain parenting techniques, just don’t care!!!!!!

Politely say thank you for your opinion and leave it at that.

There is not one way of doing this thing and we teach people how to treat us. If you are confident and stick to your guns respectfully, before you know it others will keep their opinions to themselves.

People need to learn to respect others parents right to be different and to  not give two flying Fs what other people are doing with their children as long as they’re safe and being loved.

Leave a comment and tell me what you think! If you need any help or want to talk about being a parent, or about being too obsessed about what other people think, DM me on the Gram.
